This article explains the difference between the internet 1.0 and 2.0. The definition of 2.0 cracked me up. I was amused by the description of 2.0 as "sticky." Today users want to read and comment...not just read.
I agree that in todays age, everyone wants to be in charge and therefore wants to interact and have their thoughts posted everywhere. I on the other hand would rarely post my perspective on things. I would rather just read. However, having the option to interact is pretty cool.
When I am on the web I do tend to enjoy reading to writing. I am grateful for people who take the time to write book or movie reviews as they can come in very helpful! The technology that is available in this world is beyond me and I look forward to learning more about it!
